Neither my doctor or cardiologist would get a Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) lipid panel test done for me, so after a little research, I found out that I could order my own through requestatest.com! You can get many different tests done on your own without going through your doctor!
All you do is place your order. Await confirmation. Schedule to go to the testing facility. Get the test done. Then get your results!
The button will take you to the NMR test which measures cholesterol particle numbers and sizes that I mention whenever I discuss my cholesterol numbers.
If you’re a runner, I’m sure you’ve heard of foam rolling those sore muscles! Foam rolling is cool and all, but Gua Sha or muscle scraping can be very effective, if not better than foam rolling in some applications!
When I had Achilles and Peroneal tendon issues, THIS was one of the things that helped get me back running quickly.
Watch this video on the concept of it.
Being cold when running sucks! Getting hot when running and it is cold outside also sucks! The thing I love about Under Armour’s ColdGear is it works as it should!
When you are moving, somehow it keeps you warmed up but allows you to stay cool too if that makes sense. Basically you stay warm but don’t get hot!
I wear my leggings under their 7″ shorts with the built-in mesh, which I love running in all the time. The base layer shirt is also a great piece of gear, but I only use it below freezing.
Being seen in the dark while walking, running or cycling is of utmost importance! This multi-colored illuminated and reflective vest can be seen 360° for up to a 1/4 mile!
They also have a doggie version!
The button takes you right to their website and is NOT an affiliate link, as they almost always have a promotion going on that is less expensive than elsewhere!
Running at night can be dangerous of not being seen, but also not being able to see well in front of you! I’ve seen several lights, but this one impressed me the most. It is built very strong, is worth every penny!
It is designed to be used with the Flipbelt. It has a very bright 500 lumen LED lamp, has three intensities and a strobe function, and is rechargeable via USB.
When worn with the Flipbelt, the light is waist level, and that casts longer shadows on obstacles making them more visible! It also has a wide beam of light, and you can also see tree limbs and other things that are ahead of you.
I couldn’t stand having my phone, keys, and wallet flopping around in my shorts pockets when running. To make matters worse, I have a metal container holding my bottle of nitroglycerin pills (that I should keep with me at all times), and that adds even more flopping in the pocket. The Flipbelt is excellent for keeping things secure!
I also like the water bottles that they make for the belts (get the larger one.)
I also love their running light for night-time runs as it is waist level and casts long shadows so you can see sidewalk imperfections and other obstacles well. Plus, it can be switched to be VERY bright!
I have the classic and the elite which has a water-resistant zippered pouch
I was never a person to buy expensive sunglasses. A long time ago, I had a pair of RayBans on the top of my head and broke them in an airplane since I’m so tall, ever since I didn’t see the point.
RŌKA is popular among the triathlon community, and they had a promotion with Strava. If you run a certain amount of miles after joining their challenge, you get a percentage off. So I took advantage of it and designed the pair above.
That is a very cool thing! You can customize them how you want, and some can even change out lenses! These are the TL series, and the button link will take you to that page, but check out their other designs.
They are high quality and super light! They don’t slip around either. I really like these sunglasses! I only use them for running, though, because I don’t want to have another slip-up, as I mentioned earlier. 😆
I didn’t link to their Amazon store because you can’t customize them at Amazon, so no commission for me, however, you get the full experience to make them how you want, and I think that is a major selling point with this company!
Out of all the accessories that I’ve purchased, none of them gives me peace of mind as this does. Sure, my Garmin watch has fall detection and will alert my emergency contacts if I don’t respond, but what if I’m collapsed and unconscious? Minutes matter.
EMS personnel are trained to look for things like this. All they have to do is look on the back of the band, scan the QR code or call the phone number on the back and provide the PIN on the band, and they have access to all the emergency information that I provide FREE on their secure website!
There are all kinds of items like this, such as having that information printed on the bands, but what if things change? With this, all I have to do is log in and update the information, whereas, with the other types, I’d have to order a new one with the new information, PLUS with the other kinds, I think they’re ugly, and I don’t want all that information on display all the time.
Being active while having a medical condition always makes me think, “what if?” This band gives me peace of mind that someone can have my info if it is needed.
I’m not too fond of the stock bands on the Garmin watches. The Apple Watch had a nice stock soft silicone band with it, and I really liked it as it keeps the watch from sliding around, especially when I get sweaty!
Guess what I found on Amazon… This nice 22mm replaceable watch band compatible with Garmin Fenix 5, Fenix 5 Plus, Forerunner 935, Forerunner 945, Approach S60, Quatix 5, Quatix 5 Sapphire, Garmin Instinct, D2 Delta, Fenix 6, Fenix 6 Pro, and Sapphire Editions.
My charging cable ended up going bad, so I replaced it with this stand. It seems to “lock in” better than the cable did.
A heart rate strap is much less prone to errors than an optical sensor on any watch.
The beauty of this strap is it also measures run dynamics such as Ground Contact Time, Ground Contact Time Balance, Cadence, Stride Length, Vertical Oscillation
Vertical Ratio and Running Power.
Before having this strap, I had the run dynamics pod, tiny and clipped to the back of my shorts. Long story short, I lost it when I ran my first marathon distance for the two-year post-heart attack “anniversary” run. This strap is convenient in having accurate heart rate and run dynamics in one unit!
The run dynamics displayed are dependent on the watch it is paired with, so check on the compatibility before you order.
I went from a Fitbit to an Apple Watch and then a Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire and haven’t looked back!
Everyone said I should get a Garmin, but I said, “But this works for me.” When I ran longer distances over 4 miles, accuracy was not quite there. During the Feelin’ Froggy Trail Run, I realized the genuine limitations of my Apple Watch, so I researched and went with the Fenix 6 Sapphire. This watch does SO MUCH! The metrics that it tracks are very granular and insightful.
If I had to compare, I would say the Apple Watch tracks fitness if it is a hobby, and the Garmin tracks it for anyone serious about their fitness. Fitbit… just a toy.
The only thing I wish it had was Siri so I could respond to a text, but that will never happen. Seriously, that is the only thing I miss from the Apple Watch.
You can’t go wrong with any of the Garmin watches. Select the one that offers the features you want and then get the most expensive one you can afford. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
Many electrolyte supplements and sports drinks are loaded with sugars, and in my opinion, most of them contain way too much sodium. I’m sure they have their purposes, but for general training… way too much to be healthy!
Tom Brady’s product line includes these electrolytes, and I love them! These are clean and contain over 72 trace minerals to replace what needs to be replaced during or after exercise. If you’re not familiar with his diet, he is very strict and doesn’t use junk!
I prefer the single-use packets as you can dump them into a water-bottle, and I use 1-2 packets in my Flipbelt water bottle on my long runs depending on the temperature and how I feel.
Blueberry-Pomegranate is my favorite but Lemonade is good too!
They say not to change what works, but I’ve tried several different shoe brands in my short time running. I started with Brooks Adrenaline 19 and have found my shoe… the Brooks Ghost 13. Pictured is my favorite, the Ghost 13 Nightlife! They reflect when light hits them in the dark! (Hover or tap the image.)
I prefer Brooks. They’re great, and I usually get about 400 – 500 miles in a pair before needing to buy new ones. I also keep two pairs in rotation, so they last a bit longer.
I suggest you go to your local running store and let them fit you. Then try the shoes out! I was fitted once, and they placed me in the wrong shoe, but another person suggested something more like this. No one is perfect, but the key is to try it out and see what works for you!
I love my tunes when I’m exercising, but it is also important to be aware of my surroundings, especially when running!
These bone-conducting headphones are very intriguing in how they work! That’s right, bone-conducting! Those pads conduct sound through your cheekbones to your inner ear, so you hear the music without covering your ears. You can essentially hear your music well and still hear your surroundings. I know it seems freaky, but it is very cool!
Furthermore, these also have a built-in microphone, and I also use them as a hands-free device in my car when driving and conference calls!
I love my Sony MDX-1000 noise-canceling headphones for my video production work, but these are hands-down, the best headphones for fitness and all other uses!
They’re IP67 rated for complete sweat and water resistance which is great for those rainy runs!
In the running group on Facebook called I Love to Run, it seems the #1 question is “what kind of headphones???” and the #1 answer is “Aftershokz!”
This is a powerful 900-watt blender that makes smooth, creamy smoothies so effortlessly!
I had a 600-watt version and it lasted a little over a year with daily use. The 900-watt has a more durable motor and should last much longer.
I haven’t compared this to other brands because there is no need. It is a powerful blender and is very easy to clean up!
This is NOT a juicer. Don’t juice. It is bad. Make smoothies. Fiber is good. Juice is basically sugar water and not good, but that is another article. 😉
First let me say that all of the BMI scales out there that claim to measure body fat, muscle, water and all of that is pretty much calculating that and not accurately measuring those things! There are tons of articles online about that.
I had a hydrostatic body fat test run, and it revealed that I was at 15.3% body fat, and the scales said I was 12.5% body fat thirty minutes before the hydrostatic test. It wasn’t too far off, so that tells me that it is close enough for measuring trends.
I had another brand of scales that was VERY SLOW syncing with my phone, and a friend told me about these, and they are pretty fast!
Don ‘t waste your money on pricey BMI scales. These work well and are at a great price point!
CoQ10 is a compound that helps generate energy within our cells and is an antioxidant that protects cells from oxidative damage. Health conditions like heart disease, brain disorders, diabetes, and cancer have been linked to low levels of CoQ10. Learn more here.
As we get older, our body slows down the production of CoQ10 and we need to get it from food and even supplements.
Taking a statin for cholesterol BLOCKS the liver from producing CoQ10! 😡 Taking CoQ10 helped me with some of the muscle aches and memory issues resulting from the statin side effects.
During a visit to my local pharmacy, I learned that Ubiquinol is the active form of CoQ10 and most CoQ10 supplements is the less expensive form Ubiquinone. Ubiquinone must be converted into Ubiquinol to be used. I could tell a difference in taking this Ubiquinol and can take a lower dose!
There are many brands of this but I choose Natural Factors because it works and is cleaner than most of the others.
IF you can find these, they are an excellent and convenient side or base of a meal! I LOVE mixing Safe Catch Tuna with the Tabbouleh w/Quinoa! It is very yummy!
The ingredient lists are small and are whole grain. There are a couple of other flavors too.
I can only find them locally at Food City.
Culinary Tours is a brand of Topco Associates. Click the button below to see a list of stores that are members, and you might be able to locate these hidden gems in the frozen section.
IF you can find these, they are a quick and tasty protein-packed meal! I can only find them at Food City in the store and not on their website.
These appear to be cleaner than other brands’ frozen protein blends, which often contain a greater amount of added sugar, sodium, and many unnecessary ingredients.
I like to use these as one of my meals on strength training days. Sometimes I’ll add some shrimp, chicken, or scallops to this as well.
@Ease is a Topco Associates brand; however, Topco doesn’t show it as one of their brands on their website. 🧐
I love guacamole and even plain avocado. I hate wasting food, and it is a pain to store avocado and keep it from turning brown and going bad.
These mini cups fix that! I also like the flavor and ingredient list.
Healthy and convenient so that is a win!
You can find their products in the refrigerated produce section of most stores. Be sure to use the “Find near me” at the top of their website.
Oh yeah, I don’t use mayonnaise anymore… I use this!
I’m big on convenience if it is healthy and nutritious. Kale, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Radicchio, Cranberries, and Pumpkin Seeds are all nutritious and make up this delicious salad!
I don’t care for the included dressing’s ingredients, so I toss it into the garbage and use a better dressing, often just olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and some Flavor God Ranch Seasoning. Yummy!
One thing I dislike about eating veggies is the cleaning and preparation of them. Another thing is as each day passes, they lose nutritional value.
Tommy’s Superfoods Blends takes care of both of those issues! There are frozen vegetables, and there is Tommy’s!
They’re delicious on their own, but I usually kick it up a notch with either some Mrs. Dash or Flavor God.
Be sure to click “Where to find” to find at the top of their website to find a store near you that carries them.
Of all places, Walmart is a good source of wild-caught seafood even from USA waters!
The offerings will vary per store location, but I’ve found and buy Sockeye Salmon, Snapper, Tuna, and Sea Bass at my local Walmart.
Look for them in the seafood department’s freezers. Be aware of the farm-raised products that are on nearby shelves! Wild-caught is much better than farmed!
I was delighted with the flavor of Mrs. Dash seasonings until I discovered Flavor God! (I still use Mrs. Dash.) The only way I can describe them is they are pungent, very delicious, and FRESH!
There are low sodium versions but not “no sodium” like Mrs. Dash; however, the amount of sodium is minute compared to traditional seasoning blends. I took “low sodium” too far, as it doesn’t mean “no sodium.”
Flavor God seasonings are absolutely incredible!
I never paid attention to these before the “low sodium” directive given to me by the doctors, but they are full of flavor and WITHOUT SALT!
You can’t go wrong with any of them in terms of flavor.
Workout days require protein and lots of it! I think milk is made for baby cows and not humans regarding nutrition; however, it can be a nice protein source!
Most protein drinks are full of sugar and many other ingredients that I don’t care for. I don’t consider this a “very clean” product, but I use it as it is the best one I’ve seen in this realm.
Their 26g variant contains added sugar, so make sure you get the 42g if you want protein without the added sugar!
This is ultra-filtered milk and doesn’t require refrigeration, and can be found at various locations in stores. Although they don’t require refrigeration, I think they taste best cold. It’s also satisfying to shake it up before a sip for a frothy texture!
I really like these after a workout or evening snack!
Now pay close attention; these are not KIND’s peanut butter protein bars you find in the snack goods aisle at the store. These are refrigerated and often found in the yogurt section, IF you can find them!
I don’t eat these often because peanut butter is high in Omega-6 and is pro-inflammatory; however, I think they can still be ok to eat as long as I consume enough Omega-3. I really wish they would make a macadamia nut butter bar!
I miss potato chips. Brad’s Crunchy Kale helps with that light crunchy desire, but these are actual chips that I can have!
The ingredient list is clean and the flavor is nice and robust!
This company has many other good products and I like their grain-free taco shells so I can enjoy a clean Taco Tuesday without refined grain! 😎
I’m not a big bread person, but if I consume bread, it must be made of whole grains, and it needs to be as clean as possible. Traditional refined grain bread gives me GI upset, and it is NOT good for the body!
Killer Dave’s bread tastes great and is pretty clean! I prefer the sprouted grains and seeds bread as sprouted grains are more nutritious. It isn’t easy to find in my area, so I’ll get the 21 grain and seeds (green label) version if I can’t find it.
This company has an interesting story. Be sure to check out their “about us” page. They basically hire the right person for the right job regardless of criminal history.
These breads taste great and are highly nutritious!
One of my favorite snacks is Honeycrisp apple slices and this 100% creamy peanut butter! I don’t eat a lot of it because peanuts are high in Omega-6, but I make sure it is this 100% peanut butter when I do.
Many others contain oils, salt, sugar and other nonsense. Not this!
I’ll buy a couple of jars at a time and put one in the pantry upside down. When it is time to open a new jar, it is easier to stir up because the peanut oil separates and rises. Once I stir it back up, I’ll keep it stored in the refrigerator for use, and it is a nice consistency and doesn’t require stirring for every use!
They have creamy and crunchy, but I prefer creamy.
I thought cinnamon was cinnamon, but it isn’t.
Ceylon is native to Sri Lanka and classic “Cassia” cinnamon is grown in many other areas around the world.
Both types of cinnamon can be healthy. However, Cassia has a higher percentage of coumarin, which can cause health issues if consumed in frequent large quantities, and even a teaspoon can bring someone over the daily limit! Ceylon contains 250 times LESS coumarin than Cassia. Read more about this at Healthline.
Ceylon tastes a bit different, but after the first couple of times I really enjoy it. I put a teaspoon in my morning oatmeal.
I’ve tried many kinds of yogurt but have settled on this one. The reason is all the stores I go to has it, it has zero fats (I know yogurt from grass-fed cows is better than no fat, but I can’t get that locally), has high protein content and ZERO added sugar! In fact, a cup of this only has 5g of sugar!
The only thing I don’t really love about this is the use of so-called “natural flavors” but in weighing all others that are available locally, this is best for me-for now.
My favorite flavors are Cherry, Vanilla, Mixed Berry, and Coconut.
Everything I recommend has a reason, and the reason for this is simple! Yes, I can buy 100% coconut milk in all of my local stores, but this is in a 5.1 fl oz container!
I typically only use an ounce a day in my morning oatmeal. By using this, there isn’t any waste!
This is 100% coconut milk with NO water added! Keep this in mind because it is super thick when cooled/refrigerated.
In my opinion, golden milk is a miracle for inflammation and is way better than ibuprofen ever was as far as I can recall.
There are many recipes on the internet on how to make it, but Sunfood has made it very easy with this mix! Mix this with some coconut milk and/or water, and enjoy!
Don’t use almond milk or other milk as they are pro-inflammatory and negates the purpose of this!
I used to be a potato chip fanatic! I loved my chips! Something about that light crispy crunch always satisfied me. Unfortunately, chips are not healthy!
My mouth was super happy when I tried this for the first time! That long-time missing crunch was back, but this time much healthier as it is loaded with vitamins and minerals! You really won’t even know you’re eating a bowl full of veggies!
Vampire Killer is my favorite flavor. It is a nice and zesty garlic flavor.
Use this as a snack or a salad topper!
I have seen countless sites for pasture-raised chicken but it is always outrageously expensive! That is until I found crowdcow.com!
I really like their business model and EVERYTHING from ordering, shipping, packaging, and of course the product!
You basically sign up as a member, configure your monthly box (you can modify it and even cancel/suspend before they ship,) and then enjoy your product!
In addition to chicken, they have grass-fed beef, wagyu, bison, heritage pork, game meat and much more!
I’m not allowed to post my referral link on a website that will give my friends a $25 discount on their first order (I get a credit too), so friends, send me an email, and I’ll send you my referral link. 😎
I LOVE THESE EGGS! They taste so good and are much more nutritious than conventional eggs!
If you haven’t read my Pasture Raised Poultry article, read it and be sure to watch their video I embedded. Brilliant marketing!
I’m able to find these eggs in several local stores, hopefully you can too. They have a store locator on their website, so click “FIND US” in their navigation menu.
Wild-caught Tuna is very nutritious as it is packed with Omega-3, Protein, Vitamins B6 & B12, Vitamin D, Selenium, and more.
One major drawback to consuming a lot of tuna is the potential for ingesting too much mercury!
Safe Catch claims to be the only company that tests EVERY tuna for mercury, and their tuna contains much less than the FDA allows. The Elite package is 22x lower than the FDA limit!
I like to use the Elite pouch in my post workout Egg, Tuna, Spinach & Avocado sandwich as it contains more sodium and I need that after a good sweat session.
I use the “No salt added” canned for other times. It’s worth noting that the Elite version’s ingredients say it only contains tuna, but it does contain a higher sodium content. I emailed them, and they responded with, “There is no added salt but where the sodium comes from is after the tuna fish is caught it is kept in a salt water brine until it reaches the factory and during that time the salt is naturally absorbed.”
If you like canned tuna, I suggest you try this. It is tasty, clean, and low in mercury!
Omega-3 is very important for our health in many ways. Most supplement forms is fish oil. This is 100% algae-based! (That’s also how the fish get it. 😉) There are NO “fish burps” after taking these!
There are several algae-based products on the market, but what sets this apart is the DHA & EPA content and the optimal ratio of 2:1!
This Omega-3 is simply one the best that I’ve found and at a great value!
This was such a wonderful discovery!
Going from sugary sweet tea and other non-healthy beverages to straight water can be boring!!! These are anything but boring!
There are many water flavorings on the market, but these are the cleanest ones that I have found. If you want to make a switch but find plain water boring, you must give these a try!
My favorite flavors are Wild Cherry, Boldly Blue & Blackberry, Fruit Punch, & Black Cherry.
Oh, a bonus is you get 100% RDA of Vitamin C in a serving!
People have suggested that I write a book, make pay-per-view videos, and even charge per article; however, all the information I share is already publicly available on the internet. I am merely sharing the excellent information that has transformed me into a healthy lifestyle as part of my heart attack recovery.
There is a lot of wrong, misleading, and conflicting information out there. In addition to the countless hours sifting through all the garbage to find the good information, I have also spent many hours developing and spent money purchasing imagery and plugins for this website to provide a nice way to present the information.
Many people have told me they find the information and my experience valuable, and this option is here as an alternative to conventional “pay-for” information. I feel people value information differently, and I have a problem charging for information that I didn’t 100% create. Let’s face it, almost all information we read is someone else’s interpretation. For example, how many people pay a lot of money for a program to lose weight when all it comes to is eating fewer calories than you burn?
I’m also set up as an Amazon associate where I receive a small commission if someone purchases within 24 hours of clicking a product link. This is another way you can contribute if you buy from Amazon, and it doesn’t even cost you a penny extra.
Regardless of whether you contribute, I sincerely hope you find this information helpful somehow because I truly don’t want anyone to go through all that I did… it was very tough trying to figure all of this out!
Eat Clean. Get Sweaty. Rest. Live Well!
I bought the plastic one and used it for a few months after concluding that it is better to use a filtered bottle than buying bottles of water. I was fine with it until my wife bought me a stainless steel version!
This thing will keep my water at temp for a really long time! I prefer to drink room temp water. I even tested this with cold water (I have a Brita® pitcher in my refrigerator, too) and placed this in the sun on a hot day while mowing the lawn. I came back after that, and it was still cold! I worked around the house and kept it in the sun, and after an hour, it was still cold! They advertise that it will stay cold for 24 hours. That is great and all, but I fill this thing up about five times a day. 😆
Aside from the insulating properties, it is great knowing that I’m drinking good filtered water no matter what faucet I fill it up from. No, you can’t put creek, river, or lake water in it, but it does make almost all tap water taste very similar!
This was perfect for me getting off of added sugars! It registers ZERO on the Glycemic Index, which means it does NOT cause a blood sugar spike when consumed as sugar does.
I prefer this exact one because it is pure monk fruit extract with nothing else. The only drawback is that it says that it needs to be kept refrigerated. You can get a powder to take with you on long trips or extended periods of time away from refrigeration if needed.
Use about one to two drops per ounce of liquid.
Seriously, this stuff is excellent for getting off of sugar! I like to make lemonade, sweet tea with it and sometimes put a few drops in my oatmeal instead of honey!
Beets are great for the circulatory system. I like a cooked beet in a strawberry & kale smoothie, but I really don’t like eating beets. These capsules of beetroot powder take care of that!
Each capsule is the equivalent of three beets!
This is a very special type of dark chocolate! It is FairTrade cacao beans infused with plant sterols which gives it a very unique silky smooth texture AND it helps with cholesterol!
Plant sterols are Mother Nature’s most powerful and clinically proven cholesterol-reducing ingredient. According to the FDA consuming at least 650 mg of Plant Sterol Esters twice daily with meals for a daily total intake of at least 1,300 mg as part of a healthy diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart issues.
Each piece of choconuvo contains 650 mg of plant sterol esters!
I enjoy three pieces a day by just letting a piece melt in my mouth. I prefer the 91%, but if you are new to dark chocolate then maybe start out with the 66 or 74%.
Supposedly they don’t ship throughout the hot late spring and summer months, so it’s best to stock up!
I tried many dark chocolates but this is one of my favorites! It has only 3g of sugar and is just the right amount of sweetness to not be so bitter.
This chocolate is FairTrade certified and is not overly processed with unnecessary ingredients.
This is great for packing in a cooler and taking on road trips, to the office, or anytime you are on the go!
Huel is a Nutritionally Complete Food intended to be used as a meal replacement when you don’t have time to cook a proper meal. It contains 27 essential vitamins and minerals, some of which are very hard to get in meals, such as zinc and B12!
Mention my name, Jerome Cloninger upon check out and receive a $15 discount on your first order over $50, and I will receive a credit as well. Be aware they default to a subscription which will save you more, but you can select a one-time purchase.
This product has been a life-saver! I use it every day! Because I exercise a LOT, I burn a lot of calories and this is an excellent way to fill that caloric need with nutritious calories!
Huel is a Nutritionally Complete Food intended to be used as a meal replacement when you don’t have time to cook a proper meal. It contains 27 essential vitamins and minerals, some of which are very hard to get in meals, such as zinc and B12!
I use the Black edition because it is higher in protein than their standard edition.

I was so excited to find these! They are packed with 20g of protein and are the cleanest protein bars that I’ve found! They don’t have much added sugar nor sodium content!
Chocolate Fudge is my favorite flavor. Peanut Butter Chocolate is good too.
Garden of Life is a very reputable company and I really like what they stand for in terms of making clean products.
I like my diet to be mostly plant-based, so I was delighted to find this really good plant-based protein powder. The best thing is that it tastes very similar to their whey protein powder!
Something that I like about this product is available in individual packets! I wish they offered the whey protein like this.
Garden of Life is a very reputable company, and I really like what they stand for in making clean products.
I like to use whey protein before and after my workouts. Although the fat has been filtered out and the Omega-3 benefit is not there with this protein being from grass-fed cows, I feel that because the cows are raised in luscious Ireland, green pastures year-round is good for the cows, the environment and still results in a great quality product.
