Huel is a Nutritionally Complete Food intended to be used as a meal replacement when you don’t have time to cook a proper meal. It contains 27 essential vitamins and minerals, some of which are very hard to get in meals, such as zinc and B12!
I don’t utilize this anymore, but it was a very good transition item for me in the first couple of years of my health transformation journey. Now I keep it simple and eat a variety of whole foods, but this is a great option for people starting out who may not like some of those foods.
I use the Black edition because it is higher in protein than their standard edition. I also like the vanilla flavor because it goes well if you want to blend in berries and/or greens with it for an extra punch of nutrients and flavor. Check out my Berry & Kale Huel recipe that I always made.
