Sports Research Vitamin D3 + K2

This is one of a few recommended products that I use in my healthy lifestyle that I’m often asked about.

Vitamin D3 is crucial for many functions in the body. Vitamin K2 is also very important and one way is that it helps direct calcium out of the arteries and into the bones and other areas where it belongs.

It is highly suggested by many sources to take D3 & K2 in the right amounts together in the same capsule as many people are deficient in Vitamin D. However, it is possible that you don’t need it as I discovered first hand! You can ask your doctor to test your Vitamin D levels or get your own Vitamin D test through Request A Test.com.

I have decided to stop. Upon further investigation, small calcifications like I have are an indicator and not a causal factor. Also, as my cardiologist also discussed with me, that calcium was doing its job and isn’t an issue unless a lot is causing reduced bloodflow. Getting rid of SOFT plaque is more important because THAT is why we get calcifications. Watch this.

So, if you ARE deficient in Vitamin D, but not concerned with wanting K2, then here is Sports Research’s D3. OR you could eat pasture-raised eggs for breakfast every day along with fatty wild-caught seafood and you may not need to supplement.

It is important to note that D3 requires Magnesium to work!

I’ve come to appreciate Sports Research’s attention to quality and have been using their products for a while. Although I’m NOT Vegan, I do also appreciate some Vegan elements.

This D3 & K2 are sourced from good quality ingredients. You’re getting 5,000 IU (125 mcg) of D3 from lichen and 100 mcg of K2 (MK-7) from chickpeas.
